Playing in bands like Rose Mercie (SDZ, Jelodanti, MonofonusPress) and La Ligne Claire (Bruit direct disques), Charlène Darling is a self-taught musician who composes soft and warm pop as well as icy rock or minimal, percussive rock. After numerous collaborations with TG Gondard, Elg and OsO El RoTo, she released her first studio album "Saint-Guidon" in autumn 2019, blending her lo-fi roots with broader, more heterogeneous arrangements. Long sold out and available only directly at her concerts, this treasure could not remain buried and deserved to be reissued. One of the tracks (Mon Jeu Préféré) was notably played by Iggy Pop on his show on the BBC in England.
