A COVERS ALBUM OF PUNK STANDARDS: AGNOSTIC FRONT, U.K. SUBS THE OUTCASTS, G.B.H THE BOYS, ...ETC...This is not a new CHARGE 69 album per se, but a covers album. To promote their latest record 'Tous Debout' released in May 2020, the Metz-based band had planned many concerts with a new setlist full of surprises, but with this pandemic... all their dates were canceled. Deprived of concerts, time seemed very long to them. No more positive vibes in this dull period where all freedoms suddenly disappeared. So they decided to go back and lock themselves in Jeremy Borowski's small recording studio (also producer of their last album) and cover some standards by the bands that inspired them and made them want to create CHARGE 69. Their references, their roots. All these bands that brought them so much during adolescence and that continue to thrill them decades later. A way to say THANK YOU to their Heroes while hoping they won't mind them massacring their songs.
