Chantal Grimm is a singer-songwriter from the folk wave of the late 1970s. She attended the faculty of letters alongside Jean-Marie Le Clézio and started in a cabaret on Île St Louis with Bernard Lavilliers. A facilitator of training cycles for teachers, singers, and lyricists, a lecturer at the University (La Sorbonne, Toulouse), she completed about ten years of missions abroad for "French through song." Upon her return, she founded the association www.ecrivantschanteurs.com which organizes workshops and songwriting and storytelling courses. She holds the column "Cuisine des mots" in La Grande Oreille, a review of the arts of speech, and performs in cultural centers, schools, and libraries for young audiences.
