A CD-book that focuses on the characters from the world of Arthurian legends and the Quest for the Grail, extending to the romantic universe of the legend of Tristan and Yseult. From Armorican Brittany to the Brittany across the Channel, from Brocéliande to Camelot, harpist, singer, and composer Cécile Corbel has explored the realm of Arthurian deeds and its mythical heroes to create the songs for this album GRAAL. Arthurian legends have been an endless source of inspiration for writing 12 original songs in which we will encounter, of course, Arthur, Lancelot, and Merlin, but also the mysterious sorceress Viviane, the powerful fairy Morgane, guardian of the boundary between the Little People and the new Christian world. We will also meet lesser-known characters from the legend such as the Fisher King or King Mark. Following them, we will participate in a mysterious hunt in which neither the hunters nor the deer they pursue seem truly earthly... A romantic imagination, with the story of Tristan and Yseult or that of Perceval and Blanchefleur, or sometimes mystical, through the quest for the Grail or that of the distant island of Avalon.
