Description

The band Causa Sui is reissuing the three volumes of its Summer Sessions on its own label, pressed on individual vinyl records - for the first time since the release of the albums between 2008 and 2009. Initially, the Summer Sessions were conceived as a side project for the band: an opportunity to explore other genres such as free jazz, krautrock, and 70s soundtracks, in addition to the psychedelic and stoner influences present in their first two albums. However, it is the Summer Sessions that best define the sound of Causa Sui, and these three records have become classics of progressive rock since their release ten years ago. Featuring collaborations from Johan Riedenlow on saxophone and Rasmus Rasmussen on electronic instruments.
