Between the Grand Canyon and the Caribbean, the two very personal albums by Cathy Hamer were lost in the after-party of the post-hippie era. Recorded in 1979 and 1980 at Threshold Recordings studio in Roanoke, Virginia, a true bluegrass temple, these 11 original tracks explore all the nuances of the American musical rainbow: folk, country, yacht, etc. This remastered edition is presented in a cardboard sleeve, accompanied by a booklet containing notes and the rare photos that survived the brief period when Hamer lived in the Grand Canyon, full of dreams but with no clear destination.
