Originating from St Etienne, Pier and Flo share two universes, two visions of music that, once confronted with each other, will never separate and will continuously enrich each other. Very quickly, a common taste stands out. In music, the two boys are sensitive to the albums of Polnareff, Michael Jackson, Queen, and Mylène Farmer. Better yet, they discover a shared passion for literature (Baudelaire, Rilke, Hugo) and art (Doré, Tamara de Lempicka, Girodet). All these references will nourish this first album. Aesthetically, Cassandre is situated somewhere between the paintings of Géricault and the clips of Woodkid. A beauty as cold as it is moving, a certain refinement, and a grand minimalism. By raising €100,000 in just 4 days on MyMajorCompany, the Cassandre team up with Tiery-F (Tal, Shy'm) for the production of this first album. The result is music far from reality, far from any reference point, where the influences of the two young men blend: symphonic orchestrations, new wave synths, pop refrains, and electro sounds. Lyrics written by two artists in love with letters, passionate about words. In the background, an obvious epic color, largely staged in the first single "Ma révolution."
