Pass Like Pollen - Translucent Vinyl

Description

'Pass Like Pollen', Chuck Moore's debut album under the name Cartalk, is an album about holding on to what you have had and what you have now - tracing an emotional path forward, while understanding the importance of looking back. Blending the crashing grungy guitars of indie rock and emo with country-influenced songwriting and Chuck's touching voice, Pass Like Pollen hits you instantly while leaving a beautiful mark behind. 'Pass Like Pollen is an album centered on heartbreak - an introspection, an opportunity to take stock of what you need, and to learn to accept what you have despite what is lost. These complicated emotions are accompanied by a kaleidoscopic range of sounds rooted in rock and country music, each sonic nuance complementing the subtleties of Chuck Moore's expressive lyricism. Whether it is building the guitars in a slow, burning progression on "Noonday Devil" or drawing as close as possible to the vocals on the intimate "Something or Nothing", every emotional beat of 'Pass Like Pollen' rings true.
