Description

To mark a decade of collaboration under the name "Fronte Violeta," Brazilian transdisciplinary artist Anelena Toku and musician and sound artist Carla Boregas are set to release the album "Fronte Violeta," a captivating blend of sound compositions, scents, and experiences. The replacement of the name with the album title highlights the culmination of their multidisciplinary project's journey, born from the compilation of fragments, sounds, and intentions from their previous works, including electroacoustic and electronic compositions, moving images, scents, installations, and live performances. "Fronte Violeta" is a sonic amalgam where synthesized sounds, percussion, voices, feathers, branches, and other non-human sonorities merge. Toku and Boregas have skillfully woven these elements to create a rich mosaic of interconnected sounds that question our perception as something always in motion, never fully settling into an established form.
