Mr SATISFACTION 1966-76 VOLUME 1
Description
Carl Dawkins began his career in the mid-60s, in the studios of Kingston. With Satisfaction, he signed his signature track, at the crossroads of Rocksteady and Reggae. A powerful and timeless track, which would enjoy a second life when it was sampled by Major Lazer for their international hit Jessica. In the early 70s, he worked with the greatest Jamaican producers such as Lee Perry, on several tracks accompanied by Bob Marley and the Wailers, including 3 tracks featured on this album.
