Following on from Stacey Pullen’s inaugural mix last year, Carl Craig himself steps up for the second edition. On a hazy, funk-laden journey into the spirit of his hometown, he expertly weaves Detroit’s past and future into one extraordinary mix. Featuring a blend of 90s gems and brand new exclusives, Carl’s selection paints a timeless picture of Detroit music. The mix opens with two incredibly rare 90s classics from Ectomorph and Ryhthm Is Rythm which haven’t been available on vinyl for years, followed by a 2015 collaboration between Carl Craig and Green Velvet that has never been pressed to vinyl. Also included are exclusives from DJ Minx, Claude Von Stroke, Ataxia, Mister Joshooa, and Brain (aka Matthew Dear), among others.
