"It's none of your business" vinyl release
Caravan is one of the grandfathers of progressive rock and the "Canterbury scene." Formed in 1968, the band blended rock, jazz, folk, and classical influences to create a gentle and distinctive sound world. Their 14 studio albums and numerous live recordings have garnered them a large and loyal following. The band has toured extensively throughout Europe over the past 50 years. "It's None Of Your Business" is Caravan's first album since "Paradise Filter" (2013) and features nine new songs and an instrumental track, influenced, to some extent, by the events and restrictions imposed on society over the last 18 months. Founding member Pye Hastings (guitar/vocals) remains Caravan's guide. He is joined by Geoffrey Richardson (viola, mandolin, guitar), Jan Schelhaas (keyboards), and Mark Walker (drums), with Lee Pomeroy (ELO, Rick Wakeman, and Take That) as guest bassist, while Jimmy Hastings also guests on flute. The album was recorded, as restrictions allowed, "the old-fashioned way" between June 24 and July 4, 2021, at Rimshot Studio.
