For 10 years, he has been producing his albums, his videos, his radio shows, his posters, his record covers, as well as a large number of dubplates, remixes and mashups. All that was missing from his track record was a fine compilation: the compilation 'Cumbia Mon Amour'. An ode to cumbia, sensual and elegant; a great communion on vinyl bringing together signed and independent artists, reissues and unreleased tracks, sounds from yesterday and today. A timeless journey between Latin America, England and France to the magical and mesmerizing rhythms of Cumbia, subtly mixed by the expert fingers of Captain. Behind Captain Cumbia is the workaholic David Feterman (his real name), a polymorphous multi-instrumentalist artist, singer, DJ, producer, radio host, party organizer and poster artist. 'El Súper Desperado' from Paname is above all known for being the specialist in Cumbia in all its forms. In 2011, he launched the first 100% Cumbia monthly party in the Hexagon and began covering the walls of the capital with his colorful "comics-skeleton" style posters. The party is now called Big Fiesta de Cumbia and has become the must-attend event for Cumbia lovers at La Bellevilloise. In 2012, he launched the first 100% Cumbia monthly radio show in the Hexagon on the digital airwaves of Mellotron.
