Description

The trio Capsula, originally from Argentina and now based in Bilbao, takes its name directly from David Bowie’s “Space Oddity.” Their music is steeped in the sharp, raw darkness of The Stooges, The Cramps, and The Velvet Underground, as well as the psychedelia of contemporary bands like The Black Angels or The Warlocks. Capsula, who collaborated with Ivan Julian and Tony Visconti on their previous records, is getting ready to hit the road again with their new album. A strong live reputation that notably allowed the band to open for Pearl Jam last November.
