On "Dreamless Sleep", Evan Caminiti (50% of the guitar duo Barn Owl) creates a rich and hazy atmosphere in a succession of troubled musical portraits, through a dense, cinematic, even televisual sound. Initially recorded on a 4-track with guitars and synths, the tracks were deconstructed and reassembled a year later, resulting in a manipulation that changes the volumes and orientation of the original recordings.
