Founded in 1971 in Southeast London, Camel is a group that innovated by combining rock, pop, jazz, blues, folk, classical, and electronic elements. Rediscover the world of this band through these four 180-gram vinyl reissues.
- Mirage (1974): It is considered one of the most important albums in Progressive Rock. The virtuosity of the musicians and the completely disjointed construction of the tracks challenge conventions and make this album a must-have for all Prog Rock fans.
- The Snow Goose (1975): Camel's 3rd album. Inspired by Paul Gallico's children's book, Peter Bardens and Andrew Latimer quickly set about writing what could have been the soundtrack to this tale. Soaring compositions collide with the musicians' virtuosity to create a singular work.
- Moonmadness (1976): This would be the band's last album with the original lineup, as Doug Ferguson left the group in 1977 before the recording of 'Rain Dances'. On this album, the members of Camel composed based on each person's individuality. Considered a major Progressive Rock album.
- Rain Dances: Camel's 5th album. This album saw the departure of Doug Ferguson, the arrival of Richard Sinclair (Caravan), Mel Collins (King Crimson), and the appearance of Brian Eno on Minimoog. For many, this album remains their most mature and creative.
