In less than 10 years, the group Cabadzi (now a duo) has managed to establish its name in the hearts of lovers of a different kind of French song (fans of Dionysos, Fauve, Camille, or Odezenne) by incorporating as much electronics as hip hop. Cinema must now be added to the list of influences from the Vendéens. Their new album was indeed born from a meeting with the great director Bertrand Blier. This led to the idea of composing an entire record using the dialogues from "Buffet froid," "Tenue de soirée," "Les Valseuses," and many others as raw material completely reimagined into new lyrics.
