Trios pour piano Opus 65 & 90 Dumky

Description

Taking their name from the legendary violinist Adolf Busch (1891-1952), this young trio has already established itself on the international scene as one of the most talented of the new generation, leaving in its wake, as it travels, the enthusiastic echoes of audiences and the press — as well as a few prizes in major competitions. “What is most impressive is their musical ease and their unity of thought and attack. One even has the impression that the three breathe together,” wrote the Times after one of their concerts at Wigmore Hall. Under the auspices of Alpha Classics and the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth, the ensemble has taken on a challenge: to record the complete chamber music for keyboard by Antonin Dvorak. With such masterpieces as Trio No. 3, op. 65 and Trio No. 4, op. 90, the London chamber musicians make a strong statement with the first installment of the saga, in which they reveal in depth the poetry of the great Czech composer. The Trio is in residence at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth.
