Description

After a first album followed by two EPs entitled "Home Work", the songwriting process broadened and is now embraced by all members of the band. For this new album, this approach to composition continues and deepens. It is a permanent discussion where each person brings their own intimacy into play, where ideas confront, converge and intertwine.This constantly buzzing laboratory produces a pop music with multiple nuances and colors, nourished by the background and sensibility of each member of the band. What emerges is a hybrid pop teeming with microscopic details and dichotomous maneuvers: the sweetness of a harmony clashes with a rough and abrupt rhythm, the exuberance of an arrangement enlivens a simple melody, the sounds of acoustic instruments (drums, guitar, vocals, glockenspiel) coexist with synthetic elements, keyboards and machines.Their musical tastes and influences are manifold; many artists fascinate, inspire, and perhaps unconsciously influence them for this new album: Portishead, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, etc.
