ALL WAS BRIGHT (vinyl)

Description

After a first album followed by two EPs Home Work, the writing opened up to a broader spectrum and is now shared by all the members of the band. For this new album, this approach to composition continues and deepens. It is an ongoing debate where each person puts their own intimacy at stake, where ideas confront one another, draw closer and intertwine. This laboratory in constant agitation gives rise to a pop with multiple nuances and colors, nourished by the journey and sensitivity of each member of the band. A hybrid pop is born, brimming with microscopic details and dichotomous maneuvers: the softness of a harmony collides with a rough and abrupt rhythm, the exuberance of an arrangement brightens a bare melody, the sounds of acoustic instruments (drums, guitar, voice, glockenspiel) coexist with synthetic elements, keyboards and machines. Their tastes and musical affinities are many; many artists fascinate and inspire them and, perhaps unconsciously, influence them for this new album: Portishead, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, etc...
