Behind you, a canal. In front of you, an intimate gathering of 200 people anticipating the return of one of the pillars of Berlin electronic music. Covid caused a two-year hiatus. During that time, Bruno completed an album with Kool Keith and another for Perlon. No one is sure what's going to happen... and then it happens. Live at Club Der Visionäre might be a continuation of Live at Contact in Tokyo: the stripped-down accessibility of Bruno's live sound. But this one is fresher and bigger. What we loved about his live shows is still intact: spontaneity, groove, and sex. Shakers and snares galore. Bruno's flow keeps you on the dance floor, as always. However, with Live at Club Der Visionäre, there are new elements: a louder sound, more prominent basslines. What stands out most here, perhaps, is the frequent use of his vocals. It feels like they've always been there, but now they are more pronounced, fuller, and warmer. It's new, yet strangely familiar.
