Bruce Soord, founding member and principal composer of The Pineapple Thief, released his first solo album in 2015, exploring a softer, dreamier side of his songwriting while retaining depth in his arrangements. Recorded at his studio in the United Kingdom, the eponymous album features tracks written and performed by Soord, with Darren Charles contributing on guitar. Inspired by his life in a small, declining town, the album is both a celebration of the past and a testament to bygone times. Soord returns in 2024 with a new album by The Pineapple Thief, 'It Leads To This', and a European tour.
