Behind Brother JT is John Terleski, who since the early 90s has continually explored experimental psychedelic rock with notable releases on Drag City, Drunken Fish, Siltbreeze, and Birdman. Among other things, he founded the garage pop band The Original Sins in 1987. The famous American journalist Byron Coley points out that this album is the artist's most accomplished work. A mix of rock and ballads borrowing from Beat Happening as well as Warren Zevon, Stalk Forrest Group, or Kevin Ayers.
