Toutes nues

Description

BRIGITTE, a new unreleased acoustic album: Recorded in 3 days on the fly and without a safety net, “Toutes nues” is so named because Brigitte, like a nocturnal tightrope walker, appears there even more stripped bare. The lyrics then take on a new meaning and the harmonies unfold in a new dimension. Brigitte, in her intimate solitude, makes us hear her words again, while the harmonies are refined until they leave the trace of the memory of a dream, tender, full, and soft. The tracks become new totems, without taboo. Accompanied by Chat’s (Charlène Juarez) virtuoso piano and Karen Brunon’s violins, the voices of Aurélie and Sylvie answer each other, intertwining like a precious alloy from which the finest jewelry is made. Brigitte is an instinctive creature, made of desires and intuitions. So we will listen to this unexpected and astonishing record not as a parenthesis in an exemplary career but as the moving testimony of artists coming back to life within themselves. “Toutes nues” A living, generous, and powerfully organic album. And one that so perfectly lives up to its title.
