Founded in Port-au-Prince about ten years ago, the group Boulpik perpetuates the nearly extinct tradition of street musicians. Their acoustic instrumentation gives a handcrafted color to their music. A 'homemade' sound that is also the sound of the country: it is Konpa Lakay.
