Mark Everett (EELS) and Katie Boo (79.5) reinvent themselves in the indie folk duo BOO BOOS! The dynamic duo Boo Boos, made up of two artists living on opposite coasts of the USA – Katie Boo (Kate Mattison) and Bronco Boo (Mark Everett of EELS) – are releasing their debut album! One night in Los Angeles, listening to KCRW, Bronco stumbled upon a 79.5 song that he loved. Shortly after, he was asked to create a playlist for Radio L’envie and included that track. This marked the beginning of a verbal exchange between the two artists, which quickly turned into a musical dialogue: ideas and songs traveled between Brooklyn, NY, and Los Feliz, CA. Feeling they had something special, and discovering they shared the same surname, they decided it would be a shame not to record these songs. So they did.
