Lover's Rockin - The Lost Album

Description

In the mid-seventies, the Stones were living and working in Jamaica as tax exiles. They recorded their album Goat's Head Soup. It was during this period that Bobby, Ronnie Wood, Steve Crooper, Nicky Hopkins... under the production of Clive Hunt, recorded this album. This disc of rare artistic quality remained buried in Clive Hunt's archives for all these years. In 2023, the year Bobby Keys would have turned 80, it will finally see the light of day and delight the public's ears.In 1964, he discovered the Rolling Stones at a concert in San Antonio. With trumpeter Jim Price, he was among the musicians recruited for their 1969 tour. He participated in the recording of several Stones albums, including Let It Bleed in 1969, Sticky Fingers in 1971, and Exile on Main Street in 1972. The famous saxophone solo on the track Brown Sugar is considered his most striking contribution. Born on the same day as Keith Richards, he became one of his close friends.Available in Digisleeve CD and Gatefold LP editions including liner notes and unreleased photos. All tracks have been specially remastered. Very careful mastering for the LP edition.
