"Catch A Fire" is the first album recorded by the Wailers (Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Livingston, Aston, and Carlton Barrett) for Chris Blackwell. It is the group's first true album, recorded as such, and not a compilation of singles. Recorded in Kingston in October 1972, it was entirely mixed in November at Island Studios in London by John "Rabbit" Bundrick, who added numerous overdubs.
