A serious competitor to Mark E. Smith ofThe Fall, Ted has released over thirty albums to date.A multi-talented artist, Ted Milton released his first book in Italy in1963, then his poems were published in various magazines, includingParis Review. He then became a puppeteer, which led him tocollaborate with Terry Gilliam on his film Jabberwocky (1977). Healso created artist's books in the 1990s, which wereexhibited at the Bibliothèque nationale de Paris and the British Library.In 2001, Ted created a tribute to Daniil Kharms, an absurdist Russianauthor, in a performance where puppets, poetry, andelectronic music mingled.
