Fifth album from the Swedish masters of extreme metal, The Arrow of Satan Is Drawn fuses death, black and thrash in a torrent of occult brutality. With a sound as sharp and macabre as ever, Bloodbath explores the deepest darkness, driven by the visceral vocals of Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost) and the arrival of guitarist Joakim Karlsson (Craft). Founded in 1998 by members of Katatonia, Opeth and Paradise Lost, Bloodbath pays homage to old-school death legends (Entombed, Morbid Angel, Cancer...). This new opus, recorded between February and June 2018, is elevated by cover art from Eliran Kantor (Testament, Sodom) and a cult track, Bloodicide, featuring Jeff Walker (Carcass), John Walker (Cancer) and Karl Willetts (Bolt Thrower).
