2014 marks the 40th anniversary of Blondie, a flagship band of the New York rock scene of the late 70s. Blondie has specially re-recorded all its hits for this "Deluxe Redux: Greatest Hits" which is released with a brand new studio album as a bonus: "Ghosts Of Download"! This 10th studio album was recorded over the past two years under the direction of producer Jeff Saltzman, known for his collaborations with The Killers. Titled "A Rose By Any Name", the 1st single is a duet between Debbie Harry and Beth Ditto of Gossip, a meeting at the top between two generations of rock women! Contributions from other guests punctuate this record: Miss Guy on "Rave", the Colombian hip hop group Systema Solar on "Sugar on the Side" and the Panamanian rapper Los Rakas on "I Screwed up".
