Born in Argentina in 2017, Blanco Teta is more than just a band. The project merges experimental rock, punk-pop, and trash noise to develop a message that transcends genre boundaries. The quartet intensely delves into noise, dance, and avant-garde, as well as concrete political reflection with a clear discourse on transfeminism. From the outskirts of Buenos Aires to some of Europe's most adventurous festivals, including an exceptional KEXP session, Blanco Teta's live iteration offers something very fresh by crossing performance boundaries to create an immersive experience with high energy and madness. 'Rompe Paga' is their third album but also their first album. Moving from trashy skate-punk vibe tracks to noisy experiments, the band experiments without limits. Using many glitch effects and digital mixing tools like autotune, the album is a true revelation.
