Blacktoothed, made up of singer Hendrik Rathgeber, guitarist Mathilde Keitel and drummer David Sommer, announce the release of their second album 'Headway', blending emotional depth and musical diversity. With a range of different sonic experiences and artistic creativity, each song tells a unique story that characterizes a growing relationship with oneself as the life mission of a human being. With 'Headway', Blacktoothed experiment far more than on previous releases and venture into territories that are both heavier and more electronic. "We really pushed our own limits with this album. It was an emotional rollercoaster for all of us, which gave rise to the most poetic songs we have written to date." --- Blacktoothed --- The first singles "Novocaine" and "Carried Away" showcase the band's diversity in musical arrangements and easily surpass previous releases. For the production of the 9-track album, blacktoothed relied on its tried-and-tested team of award-winning producers Christoph Wieczorek and Julian Breucker, who have already worked with promising artists such as Electric Callboy, Future Palace, Beyond the Black and many others. - ensuring the sound quality that a modern rock album like 'Headway' deserves. For the visual presentation of the album's singles, the band worked with Peter Leukhardt as videographer and Marius Rietze, who contributed to all the artwork.
