The album debuted at number 22 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 13,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release. It debuted in the UK at number 5. Produced, designed, and mixed by Joe Barresi (Melvins, Queens of the Stone Age), this collection of 15 songs unabashedly reflects the band's greatest influences - Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and Whitesnake - while placing them in a 21st-century post-grunge and hard rock context. Magic Mountain brings together all of BSC's strengths in a cohesive manner.
