The seventh studio album by the mighty Black Lips is finally back on vinyl, as part of a “Fire” reissue series celebrating the 20th anniversary of the legendary garage rock gurus from Atlanta, Georgia. Featuring fan favorites such as “Boys in the Wood” and “Funny,” this album is an essential slice of Black Lips history. The band gathered at Dunham Studios in New York to record the first tracks with Dap Kings musical director Tommy Brenneck (Cee Lo, Charles Bradley), then headed to Nashville to record several songs with Patrick Carney of the Black Keys as producer, before finally completing the album with a few songs co-produced with Ed Rawls, a longtime Black Lips collaborator.
