Windflower

Description

With Windflower, pianist Ayumi Tanaka reunites with drummer Thomas Strønen and for the first time is joined by bassist Thomas Morgan. Born from their musical encounter in Oslo in 2024, the trio develops music created in the moment, between free ballads and collective improvisation, where intensity arises from restraint, mutual listening, and constantly renewed interaction. Recorded at Studios La Buissonne, the album accompanies a European tour.
