Acclaimed guitarist Bill Frisell has announced the release of his new project, Valentine – the first recording by his trio with bassist Thomas Morgan and drummer Rudy Royston. 'This album is about Rudy and Thomas and the musical relationship I have with them. We've been playing together for a number of years, but there was no proof of it, which is why I decided to make an album, if only to show that it's real,' says Frisell.
