Description
Waltz for Debby is a live album by jazz pianist and composer Bill Evans and his trio consisting of himself, bassist Scott LaFaro, and drummer Paul Motian. The title track, a musical portrait of Evans' niece, became one of the highlights of his live repertoire in the following years. Originally, it was meant to be a solo piano piece on Evans' first album, New Jazz Conceptions. It is probably Evans' most well-known song, the one he will play throughout his career.
