This is a complete performance never before released, with brilliant stereo sound quality, by the legendary Bill Evans Trio, recorded live at the Kongsberg jazz festival at Kongsberg Kino, in Norway, on June 26, 1970. The audio has been remastered from the original stereo magnetic tapes. Recently found in the archives of the Kongsberg jazz festival, this concert was thought not to have been recorded and therefore does not appear in any of Bill Evans’ discographies! Eddie Gomez is on double bass and Marty Morell on drums. The album is available on CD and as a high-quality 2 x 180g LP box set. The deluxe version includes a full booklet with unpublished original photos from the concert, as well as exclusive texts. A must for all fans of the American pianist... and there are many!
