His 11th. His folk-blues universe and gospel influences have captivated many during his first tours in France. But considering Big Daddy Wilson as a mere bluesman is not enough. Big Daddy Wilson, a respected bluesman from North Carolina, gained recognition on the European scene with acclaimed albums such as 'Love Is The Key' (2009), 'Thumb A Ride' (2011), 'I'm Your Man' (2013), 'Time' (2015), 'Neck Bone Stew' (2017), 'Deep in My Soul' (2019) and, more recently, 'Hard Time Blues' and 'Plan B'. He has traveled a winding path to finally record 'Smiling All Day Long'. With the release of 'Deep In My Soul' in 2019, Daddy Wilson felt that his music and career had come full circle in style. "I see it as a journey," he said of his incredible story. It is the journey of a man who immersed himself in this magnificent music called blues and who, after 25 years, finally came home. But the journey does not end there, and Wilson's new album goes even further: Smiling All Day Long showcases his talents as a producer and songwriter in a more versatile set of songs than ever before.
