A l'occasion du 50ème anniversaire de l'album «Cheap Thrills» des Big Brother & the Holding Company, groupe dans lequel Janis Joplin a fait ses débuts, Legacy Recordings et Columbia commercialiseront, le 30 novembre, l'album en édition Legacy 2CD Deluxe et double vinyle.
50 ans auparavant, le groupe avait choisi d'intituler leur premier album «Sex, Dope & Cheap Thrills», ce que le label avait refusé à l'époque, choisissant de ne conserver que la deuxième partie du titre : «Cheap Thrills».
> L'édition 2CD contient 30 titres de performances rares : 29 enregistrements studio, dont 25 inédits, et un live enregistré au Winterland Ballroom le 12 avril 1968.
> L'édition double vinyle contient quant à elle 16 titres extraits de l'édition 2CD Legacy.
