Although she had a seductive voice and a slightly swinging style, Bev Kelly (born in 1934) only recorded a few jazz albums before fading into obscurity. She made a strong impression in the 1950s, and a few comebacks thereafter, while pursuing other careers, such as writing (poetry and music), photography, pottery, breeding German Shepherds, and preparing for her doctorate in psychology.
