Machine Ronde celebrates guitars. The roots of Black American music. Of rock. Of blues. And even country, as evidenced by "En découdre", one of the ten tracks on this devilishly good fourth album. This hot and round (sic) record was recorded and mixed in fifteen days, between June 2022 and spring 2023, under the guidance of guitarist and great wizard Yan Péchin (Alain Bashung, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, Brigitte Fontaine), who composed all ten songs. With the participation of musicians from the late author of L'Imprudence, including bassist Bobby Jacky and Arnaud Dieterlen. One would almost forget to mention that Machine Ronde was mixed in Paris by Jean-Charles Versari (Warren Ellis, Erica Nockalls, Oiseaux-Tempêtes…) and mastered in London by Pete Maher (U2, The Pixies, Nick Cave…). And that the cover – magnificent, by the way – in black and white, was designed by Lara Herbinia, photographer and female vocalist for Bertier.
