Live Zebulon

Description

Recorded at Zebulon in Los Angeles as a warm-up show for a concert planned in Holland, what was supposed to be a starting point turned out to be a full-on blazing set. A slightly stripped-down version of the ten-member band Bent Arcana (for ease) allows the group to remain concise and enjoyable. Stress and improvisation sometimes bring back those little lost gems that this recording is filled with… Hotly recorded by none other than sound engineer Liza Boldyreva, this is a selection of songs from Bent Arcana and Moon-Drenched - stone space jazz. Mixed by John Dwyer and mastered by JJ Golden, this beautiful double album features a zootropic silkscreen animation of the Death's Head moth on side D, which can come to life with the strobe light of a phone. As cool as it is hot. Pressed on double vinyl with a silkscreened side.
