ECHO IN THE VALLEY

Description

After the enormous success of the first self-titled album by Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn, for which they won the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album in 2016, the duo presents Echo In The Valley, a second studio album once again centered on their instrument of choice: the banjo.
Abigail and Béla form an atypical duo far from the clichés of country music. Although his name is associated with the banjo, Béla Fleck is an extremely versatile musician and composer, having been nominated for Grammys in more categories than many more famous musicians. Abigail Washburn is a pioneer of the musical link between China and the USA, successfully exporting bluegrass and bringing back Mandarin folk in her luggage, brilliantly evolving her approach to traditional American music.
