"Neon Summer Skin" is a reflection on the mourning of childhood, evoking the feeling of safety felt long before understanding its true meaning. I wrote this album at a time when I was exploring the idea of starting a family while painfully feeling the absence of the one I once belonged to. Through its themes and recorded interviews, it examines the evolution and inevitable separation of families, whether due to personal ambitions or political upheavals. This album tries to accept that, generation after generation, life is a lesson in letting go.
