Originally released in 1980, « In Need Of... » quickly became a cult classic on the French disco scene. After leaving New York for Paris in the late 1970s, Bell carved out a unique space for her music, blending the soul of New York disco with the energetic sophistication of the European market. This first full-length album features some of Bell's earliest recordings, including the full-length version of « Super Queen » (1979) and « In The Right Place » (1980), showcasing her masterful voice and unique musical style. The standout track « Music Madness » has since become a beloved disco anthem, revered by collectors and DJs.
