LONG COURRIER

Description

Since the release of their first album 'Blonde Comme Moi' (certified Platinum) in 2007, the young quartet has become one of the most iconic rock bands in France. After the success of their second album (also certified Platinum), BB Brunes have taken an artistic turn with a highly convincing new album. While the world remains rock and guitars are still omnipresent, the sound is now more produced. With this new album, the band offers us a more airy sound and a universe oscillating between dreamy sounds à la Metronomy, Gossip-style synths and Daho-style French pop. They have teamed up with Alan O Connell, a new recruit to Mark Ronson’s stable, who has worked notably on albums by Gossip, Singtank, Plan B, Sir Paul Mc Cartney... for an album with finely crafted production. The compositions therefore give pride of place to keyboards and programming, as shown by the first single "Coups Et Blessures".
