It's A Pleasure

Description

BAXTER DURY’s 4th studio album, IT'S A PLEASURE, will be released on [PIAS] Le Label on October 20. This record was produced by BAXTER DURY (himself) and DAN CAREY (Franz Ferdinand, Tame Impala, Bat For Lashes...). It was mixed by CRAIG SILVEY (Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, The Horrors ..). Recorded between London, New York & Brussels, this album features contributions from 2 members of Babyshambles, DREW (bass) & PATRICK (guitars). A few words from Baxter about the album: “This album was not easy to make, however now I like it very much. Male impotence is a difficult subject to address in the form of a ‘skeletal berliner music’, but I think I have here proved the opposite. For this album I worked in New York, Brussels, Paris but you can’t hear the slightest trace of these cities, only the distant cries of Chiswick.”
