Biography We’re from Lille. Greg (guitar/vocals) has always lived in the area, a true representative of the Wask’coast that he is. Jérôme (drums) is originally from Rouvroy, near Hénin-Beaumont, but joined Greg on the Wask’coast to the point of living 500m from his place (and from the rehearsal space). Titouan (guitar) is originally from Grenoble, and moved to Lille for his studies. We don’t know if he passed them, but the band is doing pretty well for him. As for Tom (bass), he is originally from Picardie. Musical style and influences: We play punk/rock, or thrash/pop, depending. We’re not too keen on labels and we’d rather people discovering us form their own opinion about what they like or don’t like in our music. We’re pretty big fans of punk/rock, whether it’s fairly old-school stuff or more recent stuff: Bad Religion, NOFX, Strung Out, Descendents, A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi, No Trigger. We don’t really care what some people may think, and we don’t forbid ourselves from mixing different influences or musical styles, as long as it sounds good. Choice of band name: Bare Teeth. We had quite a few ideas before choosing this band name, and it’s all the funnier because French people always pronounce it very badly ... us too, actually. Singing (French - English - other - mixed) / why this choice: We sing in English, by choice. In our view, English vocals suit our musical style well and we don’t have any major difficulties writing in this language.
