L'aigle noir

Description

At the beginning of the 1970s, this album of songs was released, completely at odds with the disco of those years. With its forty-three musicians and backing singers, the album marks a move toward an ever more heightened lyricism. It is best known for its title track. In 2004, psychoanalyst Philippe Grimbert attempted to analyze it. For him, the black bird evoked is her incestuous father, whom the singer mentioned in her memoirs. It remains no less true that this album is the most mysterious and poetic of the Lady in Black. Excerpt from the guide “La Discothèque idéale Fnac” 2016
